What is it?
Exercises chosen by your physical therapist for your unique condition and symptoms that target specific muscles or parts of the body in order to restore, maintain, or increase strength, endurance, flexibility, stability, and/or balance.
Home Exercise Program
Your physical therapist will teach you exactly how to perform each exercise and will give you a select few to perform at home once you are comfortable with them.
Your therapist will also update, alternate, add, and subtract exercises for you to perform in the clinic based on your symptoms and based on your progress through your overall plan of care.
Exercise to Success
Though exercises can cause some delayed-onset muscle soreness, they should NOT ever cause pain or worsen your symptoms in any way.
